One
thing for sure, life is never dull around here!
First thing this morning, I
received a phone call from the Animal Planet channel. They wanted to do a story
about Chanda. I had to tell them that Chanda has passed away, but the young man
that phoned already knew that. They would like me to provide them with some
film footage of her doing her tricks. They need all this before October. This
might sound like a lot of time for me to get this done....NOT!
Little puppies are very 'creative' when 'Mommy' isn't watching.

Yesterday,
www.celltei.com
sent Sparkle one of their carry bags. I just couldn’t resist taking a few
pictures. I was always making carry bags for Chanda. This bag is made so well
made…and really beautiful. I was truly impressed. If you go to Celltei's
website you will see literally hundreds of different styles.
There is a pocket for an ice pack, a built in spot for a bottle
of water, a tray in the bottom of the bag in case of a little accident. My
little ‘angel’ probably will not need to worry about that!
She won’t be having any accidents.
Tommy picked up a piece of white carpet to put in the bottom instead.
It will be her home away from home.

We had a little shopping to do, so we took Sparkle
out for a car ride. When we went into any of the stores, Sparkle was in the
bag. She cried a bit at first. Maybe it was the motion of the bag that made her
a little tense. By the end of the shopping...she was doing just fine.
Everywhere we went, people stopped to ask about the
bag.

Years ago, shortly after Chanda had her first
Guinness Record, the owner of Pethall.com sent me an e-mail asking for more
information about Chanda. Pethall literally made Chanda a household word around
the World. Hundreds of people were logging on to Chanda’s website to learn more
about the amazing little dog from Canada. As of this morning, the total
number was '29,293'.
Pethall is at it
again. They are about to follow the career of ‘Sparkle’.
Do you suppose
that means checking up on ‘me’ to see if I can train another dog to respond to
so many hand and verbal commands?
This is all very exciting!
