Sparkle's Daily Blog
Welcome to Sparkle's Daily Blog. If you landed
on this page directly from another website, Google or Yahoo,
you could be wandering who is Sparkle? Why does this ebony
Poodle have a blog? Who writes the blogs and why? Why does
PetHall care?
Well before you start perusing one of the most
puppy/dog training reality journals on the web, maybe we do
owe you some explanation. When Sharon Robinson the owner and
trainer of the late *Chanda-Leah, told
us she was getting another poodle after her beloved Chanda
passed away, naturally, we were interested. We had followed
Chanda's career for years and even watched her perform on
numerous shows here in the U.S. Naturally we were curious,
and like most people who knew Chanda, we wanted to know
'how' Sharon did it, and could it be possible for her to do it
again. Simply said, we wanted to get in on the ground floor
this time.

*Chanda-Leah
Chanda-Leah was fully toilet trained at the
tender age of seven and a half weeks. By her third birthday,
she was already delighting audiences with mini piano recitals.
Then at age four, she began reading and doing mathematical
equations in dazzling displays of intelligence. This gifted
prodigy painted stunning water-colors that are on par with the
work of abstract artist.
Chanda-Leah was a toy poodle who held the Guinness World
record for the 'Most Tricks Performed by a Dog'. She was
hailed as the 'World’s Smartest Dog' by both 'Ripley's Believe
it or Not' and 'The National Enquirer' due to an ever
expanding repertoire of over 1000 tricks.
(see her website for a full list and video demos)
This delightful little dog was an experienced, multi-talented,
show-stopping performer who was nothing short of phenomenal.
-Chanda-Leah was an accomplished artist whose rich and
colorful abstract paintings were collector’s items that are
displayed in numerous homes around the world.
-Her musical virtuosity could bring the house down and
extended beyond the piano to the drums and to the saxophone.
-Perhaps most impressively, this doggy wonder knew the
alphabet, the days of the week, the months of the year,
numbers from 1-100 and could add, subtract and multiply AND
read all of
the above from cue cards.
Although, Chanda-Leah had garnered the attention of the local,
national and international media, most of the work she did was
behind the scenes on home turf in Ontario, Canada. She’s was
a sucker for a good cause and loved to entertain in schools,
churches, nursing homes, hospitals and at various fairs and
fundraisers.
Enough said, now go ahead and enjoy the journals. To read the
