Forward
It is not often that I
personally introduce a pet in PetHall. It is not often
that PetHall dedicates a section to an individual pet. We
at PetHall have been proud to be associated with
Chanda-Leah (AKA World's smartest dogŪ) and Sharon
Robinson her guardian. Without much ado, I will open with
a poem my father always had in our children's room when I
was growing up. I later found out a couple of days ago
that it was an adaptation from a poem
Children Learn What They Live
By Dorothy Law Nolte, Ph.D.
Below is a extract from the poem
A child that lives with
criticism, learns to condemn.
A child that lives with hostility, learns to fight.
A child that lives with fear, learns to be apprehensive.
A child that lives with pity, learns to feel sorry for
themselves.
A child that lives with ridicule, learns to feel shy.
A child that lives with jealousy, learns to feel envy.
A child that lives with shame, learns to feel guilty.
A child that lives with encouragement, learns confidence.
A child that lives with tolerance, learns patience.
A child that lives with praise, learns appreciation.
A child that lives with acceptance, learns to love.
A child that lives with approval, learns to like
themselves
To all these I add,
A dog that lives with
attention
learns many tricks.
Chanda-Leah; Her Story
Meet Chanda-Leah, an

Her name is a derivative of "Chandelier" just as a
chandelier lights up a room, Chanda lights up the lives of
people she touches.

television shows in Canada, the United States and around
the world.
