PetHall, Salutes Cairo the only canine member of the elite team six that raided Usama Bin Ladin’s compound. The amount and quality of training this dogs go through deserve commendation. Cairo is a Belgian Malinois, was the only four legged member of the 80 souls who conducted the raid and he accompanied the 24 men from SEAL Team 6 who entered the compound. According to Wikipedia “The Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois) (play /ˈmælɪnwɑː/) is a breed of dog, sometimes classified as a variety of the Belgian Shepherd Dog rather than as a separate breed. The Malinois is recognized in the United States under the name Belgian Malinois. Its name is the French word for Mechlinian, which is in Dutch either Mechelse herdershond (shepherd dog from Mechelen) or Mechelaar (one from Mechelen). These dogs are popular in use of police departments, as are German Shepherds.”

The Obama family have finally made there pick and they choose the Portuguese water dog. The breed was originally bred for fishermen. It is a very active dog and requires a lot of playtime. It is also a hypoallergenic dog which is of paramount importance to the First Lady and her family. This dogs gets a double A+ in the cute department. Portuguese water dogs are not so common. Ted Kennedy owns two. They cost somewhere between 1200USD to 22oooUSD. Prices are expected to rise because the Obama’s are more than a first family. They are Pop icons. I must add that these dog will look good in photographs with the girls. They are in for a lot of fun

Peruvian Hairless It is true that Peru has officially offered the Obama’s a Peruvian hairless with dates to more than one hundred years of breeding and ancestry. What is the advantages of the Peruvian should the Obama girls accept it? One it is hypoallergenic, it is hairless– No mess, it is sometimes toothless. More like having all the fun of having a dog but without the hassles. Oh sorry it poops. In my opinnion, the dog has a lot of charisma.

The president elect stated in a press conference that the new first pet must be hypoallergenic. So what is a hypoallergenic dog breed? Hypoallergenic dog breeds are breeds that, for various reasons, might produce fewer reactions in people who suffer from allergies. It most be noted that no breed is 100% allergen free or hypoallergenic. With this in mind, below are the possible dog breeds for the first family. However there is an obstacle on the way which the President Elect eluded to. Most shelter dogs are mixed breeds so how do they balance their desire for a shelter dog with the health issue of one of the Obama girls? List of Hypoallergenic Dogs: Below is a list of hypoallergenic dogs (those with reduced allergenic tendencies): American Hairless Terrier Airedale Terrier Basenji Bedlington Terrier Bergamasco Bichon Frisé Bichon/Yorkie Bolognese Border Terrier Cairn Terrier Cavachon Chacy Ranior Chinese Crested (hairless) Chinese Crested (powder puff) Cockapoo Coton De Tulear Doodleman Pinscher Giant Schnauzer Hairless Khala Havanese Irish Water Spaniel Kerry Blue Terrier Labradoodle Lagotto Romagnolo Lowchen Maltese Malti-Poo Miniature Schnauzer Native American Indian Dog Peruvian Inca Orchid Poodle Poos Portuguese Water Dog Puli Schnoodle Shepadoodle Shichon Shih-Tzu Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Spanish Water [...]

There is a lot of Buzz about what the new Presidential pet coming to the white house with the Obama’s will be. We already know it is a dog. Sorry to all the cat people out there. Maybe the president elect will get a cat also when he settles into the white house. With the temperament of the different breed of dogs, what breed will your recommend to the Obama’s? Thank God, the future first family has decided to adopt there new companion (so we are told) This should raise awareness and love for all the pet shelters worldwide. If this dog was for the president elect himself. I will recommend a doberman. Not only because I love these dogs but also I think if the President elect (PE) were a dog, he would be more like a doberman. Cool and poised. Loyal, determined and fearless. Also they will look good together. I can just imagine the PE in his impeccably tailored suits and the doberman by his side. Now that is beautiful. What do you think pet lovers?
