It is official, the Obama family to adopt a Portuguese Water Dog

The Obama family have finally made there pick and they choose the Portuguese water dog. The breed was originally bred for fishermen. It is a very active dog and requires a lot of playtime. It is also a hypoallergenic dog which is of paramount importance to the First Lady and her family.

This dogs gets a double A+ in the cute department. Portuguese water dogs are not so common. Ted Kennedy owns  two. They cost somewhere between 1200USD to 22oooUSD.

Prices are expected to rise because the Obama’s are more than a first family. They are Pop icons.

I must add that these dog will look good in photographs with the girls. They are in for a lot of fun
