Baby Bear April 24, 2000 - October 17, 2001 Baby Bear was a gift to our family that we treasured from the first day he came to us.  He was born with a heart defect and was not given much hope. He surprised everyone by growing up as big and strong as his puppy brothers and sisters.  He was the sweetest little guy who truly ruled the house.  He fit right in with his new human brother and sister.  I really don't think he believed he was a dog at all.  Since he seemed to be doing so well, we forgot just how fragile he really was.  We lost him suddenly only 15 months later.  I would give anything to bring him back to us.  He has left us with a huge hole in our family and we miss him so much.  I miss the way he would lick my ears, practically taking off my earrings in the process.  The way he would snuggle up at night to keep me warm and the way he would bark like a "big dog" at any noise outside to protect his family.  And so I prayed that my nana and my young cousin who have already passed were there to greet Baby Bear and to take good care of him until we get to see him again.  WE LOVE AND MISS YOU BABY BEAR!!
