In Loving Memory of CHRISTA [CH. Lorimar's Christmas in July]
who began her journey to Rainbow Bridge on March 11, 2002
CHRISTA, born July 2, 1993, was a beautiful Bi-Blue Shetland Sheepdog.
Through the gracious generosity of Gail McLennan, Christa came to live with
me and my family of Shelties.   Christa was truly a great representative of
her breed...not only for her beauty, but for her friendliness.   You couldn't
help but fall in love with her.   Through the years, Christa lived primarily
in the city with me, but also enjoyed living the life of a "country girl"
occasionally with her other Mom, Gail.
Christa's wonderful spirit will live on in her beautiful puppies, one of
whom, is also a part of my family.
Christa left this world as she lived, with grace and dignity, with my arms
around her.  After her cremation, two urns, each containing part of her
ashes, now have a special place of honor, one at her city home, one at her
country home,  where she was so dearly loved.
While her physical being is no longer present, she will always live on in our
hearts.   Thank you, Gail, for entrusting Christa to me.
Christa is survived by her Sheltie family, Dancer [who was always Christa's
best buddy], Paisley, Commander, and son Phantom [who now has continued the
"family" tradition of supervising the neighborhood comings and goings from
her spot at the back-yard fence].     Last but not least, Christa's City-Mom,
Bernice.
  In a place of bluer skies; higher than where eagles fly,
  Our Loving Lord has made a special place for you, Christa.
  Rest well, sweet Chrissie, 'til we meet again at Rainbow Bridge.
