Mickster

I am a veterinary nurse in NJ and just lost my 6 year old Boxer "Mick".
He was diagnosed with chronic hepatitis in October and died on October
29th.  He was my buddy and there is not a day that goes by that I don't
think of him. He was delivered via c-section on September 8th 1995 and
was blue to start life.  I kept working on him and got him breathing.

The breeder gave him to me and maybe since I gave him his first breath I
always felt very connected to him.  Mickster had a very good life and
although it was a short one, I feel I gave him a better life than many
children have.  We buried him at home. I visit him every day and I take
flowers to him every week. The house has been very quiet and the entire
family misses him.

There are days when I swear that I hear him snoring
or walking around. I suppose that is normal. I have had some people tell
me that dogs don't go to heaven. I have to say I don't believe that.
Mickster was the greatest and he will live in our hearts forever. We
love you buddy boy and I know you are up there looking down on us and
eating your "snackies" with my dad.

Wilma Abbott and the entire Abbott family
